Engadget HD Podcast 310 - 08.02.2012

Since everyone loves (to hate) NBC's tape-delayed Olympics coverage we decided to push this latest episode of the podcast back a couple of days. Naturally the action from London and all of the discussion around the way it's being broadcast leads things off, but there is other news this week. Super Hi-Vision has had its public debut, Google Fiber TV is happening and Amazon's video is on the iPad. The only bad news? We won't have a new show next week as we take one week off, and we're still not ready to roll out those EHD Fantasy Football league invites again just yet. The Engadget Podcast is live tonight at 4PM ET!

In the words of Frank Miller's 300, "This is where we fight. This is where they die!" Not that those words are particularly relevant to this episode of the Engadget Podcast, but this is our 300th edition and we're feeling pretty Spartan. Maybe we'll amend it to, "this is where we podcast, this is where you chat." It's a work in progress, what can we say? Hopefully we'll have things a bit more nailed down when we go live at 4PM tonight. Only one way to find out!

Regular time, regular place. Wait, what? For such a hectic and crazy week as this, it's equally astounding to think that we'll be doing the Engadget Mobile Podcast the usual way -- Friday afternoon at 5pm.
